Protect Your Wealth & Health with Online Security | February 27, 2024 at 10:30am PT
Virtual Event | Duration: 1 Hour | Presented by Paul R. Ried Financial Group, LLC
As the years keep changing, technology does too, enough to make your head spin. Going to a restaurant? Scan a "QR code" for your menu. Time to check out? Skip the cash and instead, "tap to pay" with your card or smartphone. Even new smart refrigerators want internet access to stream music! In this rapidly evolving online world, how do you keep your information safe? Our Chief Financial Advisor, Tim Kimmel, was joined by Tanya Meronk, co-founder of Techretaries, who shared her top tips to keep you and your wealth safe online while also examining a few hack and fraud case studies.
Meet Your Guest Speaker
Tanya Meronk is the co-founder of Techretaries and their Head Techretary®. Tanya’s formal education in film created a need for advertising new projects quickly and easily, first websites for her own projects and then for other people. Web design led her into IT, being the one in the office who knew the "tech stuff." Through late nights and sheer tenacity, Tanya is a self-taught techie who has a knack for seemingly metaphysically healing tech and sometimes even people. Bridging the gap between a person's physical and digital lifestyle is a mission she is fulfilling one client at a time. She cannot live without meditation, espresso, and making her husband and co-founder, Danny Tribble, laugh. She enjoys sharing her cat, Sookie's, attention with Danny.
Thank you for your interest in our Client Education Series. At this time, the education topics for these events are to be determined. There is a wide range to choose from including (but not limited to!) Medicare, Social Security, estate planning, and tax planning. We do our best to keep these events timely and informative. Do you have a specific topic you would like to see discussed? Feel free to email suggestions to info@paulried.com. Save the date and check back here for future updates!
