  • How do I upload a document to my vault?
    • From the Documents Tab, go to your Vault on the dropdown: 
    • In the upper right-hand corner, click on the Actions button and choose Post document on the dropdown: 
    • Browse your computer for the file(s) you would like to upload to us.
    • Click the Post button in the lower right-hand corner of the pop-up when you're ready: 
    • We accept all kinds of files! Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PDFs, etc.
    • The Description, Folder, and Labels fields are all optional. Once your upload is complete, our office is automatically notified and we will keep the information on file for your next meeting and/or reach out to you, as necessary.
  • How do I download a document from my vault?
    • From the Documents Tab, go to your Vault on the dropdown: 
    • On the left-hand side, click the checkbox next to the item(s) you wish to download to your computer: 
    • In the upper right-hand corner, click on the Actions button and choose Download on the dropdown: 
      • If this button is gray and unclickable, make sure you have at least one document checked from the step above.
    • If you are downloading a single file, the file will be in your computer downloads and ready for you.
    • If you are downloading multiple files, they will be in a .zip folder in your computer downloads. These will need to be "extracted" for you to edit, print, etc.
  • I don't have a scanner. Can I take a picture of my document?
    • Bad News: Unfortunately, no, especially for any forms that need to be processed. While pictures are great for capturing moments, the image quality is poor for documents, often making them illegible.
    • Good News: If you have a smartphone, you actually do have a scanner! Many apps are specifically developed to use your smartphone's built-in camera to scan your documents. While nothing can beat the quality of an actual scanner, these apps produce images/PDFs that we usually can process without any hassle for you.       • Through our own internal testing, we found the most success with Adobe Scan, Genius Scan, and Abby FineScanner.
  • Why is my fillable PDF form blank in my vault?
    • Rest assured, it most likely isn't blank! Technology is great when it works, but sometimes programs won't "talk to each other." Occasionally, fillable PDF forms look blank in the document vault preview (when you click on the item name). If you download the PDF to your computer, you can see your information is there.
    • If the PDFs are still blank or missing information after following the above instructions, please try "printing"/saving your completed form as a PDF before uploading to your vault. You can do this by choosing "Adobe PDF" from your list of printers. Here are some simplified instructions and detailed instructions on how to print to PDF.
  • A document was uploaded for me, but I don't see it. Where is it?
    • View All Documents: In the upper left-hand corner, check that you are viewing all the documents in your vault. You may be currently viewing a specific folder. If a folder name is highlighted, please click All Documents. 
    • Clear the Label Selection: Beneath the folder list, check that you don't have any label filters selected. If a label name is highlighted, please click the X to clear this filter. 
    • Clear the Search Bar: In the upper right-hand corner, check that your search bar is empty. If it doesn't say, "Search", please click the X to clear the search bar. 
    • If you have checked these above steps and still can't find your document, please call us at 425.646.6777 and we would be happy to work with you further.
  • Can I email my information instead?
    • Yes, you may - team member emails are found here. However, we strongly recommend that you use the client portal. This is the best way for us to exchange information safely and securely for your protection.
  • I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
    • For password recovery, please click on the convenient link beneath the sign in button or by clicking here.
  • How do I delete documents from my vault? How can I change my associated email address?
    • For security and compliance purposes, these tasks must be done on our side. Please call us at 425.646.6777 at your earliest convenience.
