James McBarron serves as Associate Financial Advisor. In his role, he provides clients with service, support, and information to make their financial lives easy to navigate. James joined Paul R. Ried Financial Group, LLC in 2021. He currently holds a Series 65 registration.

Prior to joining the firm, James worked in the insurance technology industry, both in consumer marketing at QuoteWizard, and most recently in actuarial software at Milliman. With over a decade of experience in software project management, financial reporting, and client service, James brings an analytical and client-first mentality to the firm, along with enthusiasm for the financial planning profession and investment management.

James grew up in Arlington, Washington and attended the University of Washington, graduating with a degree in psychology. He currently lives in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle with his wife, two sons, and Australian Cattle Dog, Pepper. James enjoys grilling, golfing, hiking, family city walks, and watching sports, namely the NFL, NBA, and English Premier League.
